As a group, we are able to gather at least 100 items by the end of the drive to donate to the Lifting Hands International, which is then distributed to families who lack supply of these essential needs.

- Start by arranging a meeting with NHS and come in agreement with a set goal.
- The first suggestion would be to merge certain activities that contribute to the drive, in connection with NHS service hours to motivate members to contribute to the drive.
- Advertise around the school about this drive.
- Create posters that will be distributed around the school using the list of the needed items from the “Lifting Hands International”
- Donations could also be made through money.
- A possible way of getting donations is by setting a specific reward for the class that has gathered the highest amount of money.
- For Items, we can create bins that could be distributed in hallways or in an area where students are gathered.
- Flyers could be distributed inside classrooms to remind students of the items that could be collected.
- This drive could be announced on the announcements to also remind students.
- Constant announcements of which class/grade is in the lead every week or several days might create some competition between students which will increase the number of overall contributions
- The drive will go on for three weeks giving us time to reach our goal.
- We can create items, such as blankets, masks, which are items that are needed at the moment and this also contributes to service hours of the participants.

5. Reflection
I think the work that is going to be contributed into the drive to keep it going is going to require a lot more effort than the planning. Overall I think what I have so far from the plan seems to be pretty straightforward. However at the moment, I need to still meet with the Hillcrest NHS and see what items need to be modified and added to this plan. Although this process did take thought, mainly on the advertising aspect to promote participation, the methods that were suggested might be changed depending on what grabs the audiences attention.
