About me!

Hi! My name is Ayat  and I am an IB career student at Hillcrest High School. I am a second generation Arab-American, and a first generation high school college student. I am aspiring to become a Physicians Assistant in the future. During this program I am going to be attending the Canyons Technical Institute (CTEC) to complete my medical assisting license. I am a senior looking forward to complete my last year in high school.  About myself is I really enjoy going out and bike for fun, and go on hikes. I also enjoy traveling and enjoy photography in my free time. My aim is to have gone through as many learning experiences as I can in this last year, I am looking forward for the new things I will discover throughout this program.

Who or what inspired your career field?

When I was younger, I always have thought of the things I was able to do to help the community surrounding me. Whether it is through small actions like drawing pictures to put a smile on their faces. As I grew older, I saw many of those around me lose their lives due to lack of presence of medical profesional's and medical care available. After losing several people that were dear to my heart due to these reasons, it didn't take me long before deciding what field I wanted to enter.

What is your dream college and dream job?

At the moment I am on the route of pre-med. , with the intent of going to PA school in the near future. 

Why did you want to go into the IB Career program?

I choose to study the IB career program because it has exposure to multiple perspectives. It allows me to articulate my own opinions and balance my IB classes and extra curricular activites. I am able to achieve a level of personal growth by choosing this program
